We offer a range of spray-painting services from a thin coat of etching primer to two-pack paint systems and even marine specification coatings. For pieces such as car-parts, motorcycle frames etc. we favour a system of an epoxy-based primer and tough two-pack polyuratane topcoat. This is a very durable, attractive and reliable way of protecting metal items. We have huge experience of spray-painting, and have sprayed literally thousands of cast-iron radiators and bicycle frames, in any colour and finish desired.
We have a blasting machine set up with virgin (ferrous-free) media exclusively for use with stainless components. Blasting cleans up welding discolouration, and can provide a satin or matt surface finish to the metal.
We have renovated literally thousands of traditional cast-iron radiators in the last 20 years. Services offered range from simply painting or blast-cleaning to full renovation. Old radiators are grit-blasted to remove old paint and any surface rust, the old fittings are changed to fit modern heating systems if desired then the radiator is pressure tested to detect any leaks. After priming we can paint radiators in any colour needed. Traditional white, as well as bronze, gold and gunmetal colours are very popular, and always kept in stock.
