Dyeing your curtains is a simple and inexpensive way to update your decor. Curtains can be dyed to colour-match or complement your paint for an uniquely coordinated effect. Any curtains that are a solid colour and made from natural fibres should dye successfully. Curtains made from mixed fibres or polyester may dye unevenly. Printed patterned fabrics and multi-colour fabrics will produce unpredictable results. Check the condition of the curtains as if they are extremely faded or sun-bleached this may affect the integrity of the fabric.
