These dry carpet cleaning processes are better described as low moisture cleaning, where very good results are achieved with the minimum amount of water, leading to fast drying times. I am a trained Insect Treatment Technician and as such can treat your carpets and upholstery for flea and other insect infestation. It is common for landlords to require carpets to be cleaned at the end of a tenancy and if a pet has been present, for the carpets to be treated to prevent flea infestation. This is sometimes called fumigation. Other common insect problems are bed bugs, carpet beetle and moths all of which can be treatedby a trained a ‘Textile Insect Pest Technician'. Floor CleaningThe 1st 4 Cleaning Group has recently purchased(2012) a high powered, high tech floor cleaning tool which combined with our van mounted machine, will clean your floors to a high standard. It can be used to clean stone and grout and cleans deep down; even into the small crevices which other equipment cannot reach. The machine works by spraying high pressure hot water onto the floor and recovering that water with a powerful vacuum. This means very effective cleaning and fast drying. All hard floors can be very effectively cleaned including wood, plastic, Amtico, Karndean, marble, limestone, rubber, tile and mosaic.

Ten years ago when leather became popular I decided to train and research in its cleaning. These days i specialise in cleaning pigmented leathers which still make up a large proportion of the leather available. I can achieve very good results and have many happy customers. Doug has over 30 years carpet and upholstery cleaning experience. Previously an Industrial Chemist he achieves the best results possible, using high quality machines and chemicals. Stain Removal Stain removal is a massive subject and is often best left to professional carpet cleaners. My comments below are given in good faith, on the basis that I cannot be held responsible for any damage which you may cause during your attempts at stain removal. However it is only natural to try to remove stains yourself but carried out wrongly, the stain may be made much worse. Proprietary stain removal chemicals such as 1001, Vanish etc. are very concentrated and it is unlikely once you have sprayed it on the carpet that you will be able to remove the detergent.

Many Tenancy agreements require that you have the carpets professionally cleaned before handing in the keys, and even if they do not it quite often prevents a dispute about deposits if this work has already been carried out. Landlords like Truck Mount carpet cleaning because they know it gives a better, deeper clean and it is much easier to deodorise carpets this way as well.
