I am a local fireman with over 22 years service including 14 years Chimney Sweeping experience. I am now lucky enough to have my son working alongside me. Academy Cleaning are a Trading Standards vetted and approved company. We are clean, reliable, fully insured and follow strict codes of practice. Certificates are issued following every chimney sweep which are worth keeping for insurance purposes should you ever have a chimney fire or if you are thinking of selling or letting your house. Problematic chimney faults can be located and inspected using our new CCTV camera system.
Had my chimney swept about a week ago, had great knowledge and the job was done properly.
Organised the day before to have a chimney swept plus two unused open pots fitted with caps to keep the weather and anything else that might fall down out! Arrived bang on time and efficiently cleaned the chimney while also providing useful advice on using the log burner. Costs seem standard but we wanted to make sure we used a Hetas Trained Company.
