For the protection of wildlife we generally will not remove a nest in the months of March to August and will only remove a disused bird nest. Having a bird's nests in a chimney is very common but could cause all sorts of problems if left alone. Most importantly it poses a huge fire risk; causing damage to your health and your property. The bird nest can also accumulate moisture causing damp problems in the property.

For a typical chimney sweep please allow 30 to 45 minutes from arrival. A large dust proof membrane and sheet is is placed on the floor in front of the fireplace to protect your floor/carpet. Specially made sheets are used for covering the recess of the fireplace, high quality sweeping equipment and a vacuum are used to ensure the chimney is cleaned thoroughly and all soot and debris is contained.
