We are a Kent based locally owned and run family business established in 2004, covering the Weald of Kent and beyond. We have a capable and experienced team ready to provide you with the results and service you expect. Nice & Clean specialise in professional chimney sweeping. We have built our business through recommendations striving to provide a punctual service and take the extra time to leave no mess. Our experienced sweeps who are trained and regulated by the Institute of Chimney Sweeps are also on hand to provide advice and recommendations regarding your fire.
Established in 2004, Nice & Clean Services was set up by Peter Greaves in Tenterden and the Weald in order to support him through university. The chimney sweep business started as a one man operation but soon grew from strength to strength thanks to numerous happy customers who recommended them to their friends and family. In 2018 the business changed directors to Luke Jorden, a close friend of Peter of whom he trusted with the company which he tirelessly worked hard to build. Peter taught Luke how to run the business as smoothly as before and making a seamless change for the customers.
Before After We attended a property in Gravesend and carried out a chimney sweep, we soon discovered a blockage as there was a birds nest up the chimney. When we received the phone call from Belle Tout Lighthouse, Eastbourne to professionally sweep their chimney we were honoured to take it on as a regular contract. Nice & Clean attended Sandhurst, Kent to sweep the client's chimney, this was a very unique setting for us as it was a windmill but we are now confident that we can tackle most flues.
Do you have a draughty fireplace and lose heat in the winter when you do not have a fire? Talk to your Nice & Clean sweep about the Flue Balloon. At 60.00 chimney draughts can be eliminated, simply by reducing the warm air rising out of your flue and cool air sinking into your home. These can be installed by our operatives. Flue Balloons are re-usable and can be removed at any time. It is strongly recommended that you have a carbon monoxide detector* in place, to protect you and your home. Although blockages are cleared by the sweep, it cannot be guaranteed that between sweeps something may occur such as a bird's nest causing a blockage.'
