Thank you for visiting our website - we are here to help. Our aim is to be the 'blast cleaning contractor of choice for London and the South East of England, for projects large and small in both the commercial and domestic market'. Although we're based in East Sussex, we often work working further afield for larger jobs; we have worked on sandblasting projects as far away as Lancashire, Milton Keynes, Bristol, Isle of Wight and even the Netherlands. From cleaning old paint from brickwork to removing rust from metalwork, from taking dark stain or paint from old oak beams to removing saw marks and raising the grain on green oak, during the past eighteen years we have tackled most types of sandblasting projects (also known as blast cleaning, abrasive blasting and grit blasting), and have gained a good reputation with many customers who come back time and time again.
A large part of our work is on buildings. This could be cleaning the paint off a small area of wall after a conservatory has been removed, or an entire block of flats. Sandblasting can be used as a cost effective way to prepare a wall for rendering. Often, buildings are painted for 'unknown' reasons; sandblasting is the best way to remove this paint, revealing the original brickwork below. Care needs to be taken to select the right air pressure and choice of abrasive, as in the wrong hands it is possible to do more harm than good.
For jobs such as this, pressure washing can provide the solution. A pressure washer (or power washer) is a high-pressure mechanical sprayer which can create a jet of water powerful enough to effectively remove dirt and grime, dust, mud, loose paint or mould from surfaces such as paintwork, concrete, stone, brickwork, patios and decking. As with sandblasting, the pressure can be adjusted to suit the job and different nozzles can be used to suit the application. For more stubborn stains, hot water can be used and, if necessary, detergent as well.
Graham was professional, efficient, on time and completed an excellent job of sandblasting all my beams. Cleaned up well and would highly recommend him.
Excellent company to deal with, both Graham and Juliet were a pleasure to deal with
Graham and Juliet bent over backwards to fit our job in at the last minute before Christmas. From start to finish they were a delight to deal with. Graham did a fantastic job sandblasting several old pine beams and an oak staircase in our stable conversion from the 1800s. He was helpful, informative and kindness itself throughout and ensured we achieved exactly the finish we were after by consulting us all the way through. We are thrilled with the result, it has transformed the house. We would highly recommend Graham to anyone else considering sandblasting.
