Some clothes don't like traditional washing. For these and other delicate or expensive items we'd recommend dry cleaning. Among the items that often prefer dry cleaning are chair covers, curtains, suits, jackets, and delicate fabrics such as silk. If in doubt, bring them in, we will be pleased to advise on the best way to get them clean and fresh again.

Just to say that the laundrette remains open for service washes during this current lockdown. The shop is attended Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 8.30am until 1pm. Right now is a good time to bring in bedding, duvets etc for service washing. If you want to guarantee it's done and back on your bed the same day then please or call or pm in advance. 01202 551850. The self service laundry is open usual hours 8.30am - 8pm 7 days a week.
The launderette will be closed for an electrical upgrade on Thursday 23 July.
The launderette is currently open usual hours - 8.30am - 7pm - for you to wash and dry. Service washes (we do it) are suspended for the time being. Please observe social distancing and keep at least two metres between you and the next person - this shouldn't be difficult - it's spooky quiet!
