Founded in 1934, we are one of the UK's leading suppliers of specialist waste management solutions, offering a diverse range of services to householders and businesses nationwide. Our in-house transportation network enables us to collect most types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams from most locations, whilst our treatment and recovery centres utilise bespoke technology to wherever possible treat, recover and recycle the waste that we collect. As was the case in 1934, we remain a family-owned business to this day.
As an organisation, we pride ourselves on our ability to offer solutions that deal with the majority of hazardous and non-hazardous waste management issues. If your organisation is like ours and strongly motivated by the goal of zero waste to landfill, or if you simply require an end-to-end, cost-effective total waste management solution then our expert waste consultants are ready to help you. By combining a range of waste management disciplines such as hazardous waste removal, industrial cleaning, emergency response and waste system maintenance, we offer a total waste management solution to a range of organisations nationwide.
Industrial cleaning operations form a core part of our services, whether we're deploying teams of confined space operatives to clean a storage tank or using specialist technology to remove sludge from a settlement lagoon. We are able to offer our services and carry out operations across the UK and internationally. We combine the experience of our team of consultants and operatives with innovative sludge removal and high-pressure jetting technology to provide a full range of services. Our industrial cleaning teams are all trained and qualified to operate in hazardous locations, such as confined spaces, to give you the peace of mind that when we carry out industrial cleaning for your organisation, it is carried out compliantly and with health and safety as our top priority.
Our experienced and highly trained industrial cleaning teams specialise in high pressure water jetting. We carry out high pressure jetting for a diverse range of applications; whether it's simply to remove graffiti, rust and scale, or to clean or prepare surfaces, we have many years of experience in all types of jetting work. We provide manual, semi or fully automated systems with various pressures and flows to suit all requirements. Tanks and vessels can be cleaned to various standards including for demolition, hot work, or inspection.
Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. It is an alternative to ‘conventional' waste disposal that can save useful or valuable materials and help lower greenhouse gas emissions. We work with our customers to divert as much material away from landfill as possible and to maximise the value of the materials collected, whilst understanding individual client's resource limits. We recycle thousands of tonnes of waste materials every year from a diverse range of industries and sectors.
At CSG, we've been helping businesses, industry and the public sector for over eighty years, supplying innovative and cost-effective industrial and commercial waste management solutions. Our specialist environmental consultants, chemists, engineers and drivers are highly experienced and are qualified to offer safe, professional and sustainable waste removal, treatment and disposal services to your organisation. We can tailor specialised solutions to the requirements of your organisation and offer all the support you need to ensure your waste systems and facilities remain in perfect working order.
We offer friendly, local and affordable cesspit, sewage treatment plant and septic tank emptying, cleaning and pumping. More than 30,000 households across the country rely on us for cesspit and septic tank emptying. How often you need to arrange your septic tank or cesspit emptying will depend on the size of your tank and the number of people living in your property. To be on the safe side, we recommend that you have your cesspit or septic tank cleaned every six to twelve months. British Water and the Environment Agency recommends that you empty your tank annually, and by doing so you will avoid expensive repairs to rectify the points above.

CSG Lanstar will over the next 4 weeks replace the roof on one of our sewer tanks. The majority of the treated effluent waste has been removed, and the roof will be removed this weekend. We do not anticipate this work to generate a significant odour, but we wanted to forewarn local residents as there is still a chance that the contents of the tank may be detectable and cause an offence.
