We have recently completed the installation of air conditioning equipment on a number of sites including Sheffield City Council's the Moorfoot Building in Sheffield, Gorse Stacks Primary Health Care Centre in Chester, along with others projects in Bristol and Swansea. We are also currently carrying out air conditioning installations on a number of student accommodation developments, including The Edge in Leeds. We have just completed the installation of new cooling equipment to their existing walk in cold room, giving them controlled temperature storage throughout the year for various items of stock.
Shouksmiths was appointed by Wates Construction to deliver the design and installation of all the building services at the Skelwith Group's new 45 bedroom, 5 star hotel at Sandsend, near Whitby. The £30 million Raithwaite Hall Hotel comprises a gym, function rooms, restaurant, swimming pool and spa. The project included extensive use of energy efficient LED lighting and the fitting of all the sanitary ware, drainage systems and domestic services. Heating and cooling is sourced from a combination of a biomass boiler, gas fired boilers and cooling by a variable refrigerant flow system.
Our Small Works Team has a strong working relationship with McDonalds Restaurants and is currently involved in their new EOTF refurbishment scheme, which is scheduled to continue for the next three years. We also carry out work on their new build sites installing drainage, hot and cold piped services, gas pipework and sanitary ware. We have carried out a large number of installations for them, with the most notable being the largest restaurant they have ever built on the Olympic Park for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
