We are The Landscape Design Company, a small, friendly, registered landscape practice, based in Malton, North Yorkshire. As landscape architects, we understand that attractive, sensitive and practical schemes are important to you and, by listening and working closely together, your requirements can be met. The practice specialises in landscape architecture and landscape design, particularly in the local Yorkshire area. Previous projects we have enjoyed, vary in size and character and include: landscaping of a rural holiday complex, town centre open spaces, a sensory, courtyard garden for a historic urban park and private domestic gardens.
The consultancy was formed in 2009 by Rosemary Mitchell, after more than 20 years design experience as a chartered landscape architect. She has worked on a variety of award winning projects, both in local authority and private practice. See past projects for examples. Although the practice specialises in the creative design process of landscape architecture, it has the capability to provide expertise at all stages of a landscape project. It can also provide a fully managed service, to include arboricultural and ecological surveys.
