We can prepare all necessary drawings and documents for a variety of applications whilst also negotiating with the Local Authority. This is required for Listed Buildings where any building work is taking place. We can prepare all the required drawings and details for a Listed Building application, whilst liaising with the Local Authority Conservation Officer on your behalf. Controlled by Local Authority Building Control Departments and checked for compliance against Approved Documents, this stage assesses the technical side of a design looking at all aspects of a project from wall and roof construction to drainage layouts.
James Fox Architect is a small RIBA Chartered Practice located in Yeovil, Somerset and established in 1965. We work predominantly across Somerset & Dorset and have built up a strong working relationship with the local authorities in these regions. We are however able and willing to travel further afield. We pride ourselves on producing quality architecture which responds to and enhances its surroundings through excellent attention to detail and years of architectural experience since 1965.
