The Horsebridge Arts Centre provides a vibrant hub at the heart of our community. We are a public space that aims to enrich the lives of local people by encouraging them to access, enjoy and be challenged by arts activities both as participants and audience. By providing creative and cultural activities we aim to combat isolation and promote well-being. We are open for over 80 hours a weekand welcome over 90,000 local people and visitors to the area through our doors each year. Every week there are over 40 different classes, every month there are films, artist talks and clubs, and in one year we can feature over 100 artists in 35+ exhibitions.
There are many activities regularly taking place in the centre. Unless indicated these are not run by the Horsebridge, but tutors who hire our spaces, so please use the contact information to contact themdirectly for any queries or to book. See the details of the workshops or use the calendar to see when the workshops are running. The Horsebridge Arts Centre enjoys more than 90,000 visitors through its doors each year. These visitors are made up of local and regional visitors as well as growing numbers of tourists from the UK and abroad as Whitstable continuers to attract cultural and heritage tourists. We are committed to deliver a year-round programme of arts events and learning opportunities to Whitstable and beyond, responding to and enhancing the passions of the community. We work cohesively in our programming to ensure we offer events the community can be involved in with the aim of having no barrier to access, particularly with youth projects and events, connecting with other organisations and groups across the district to enhance the collective offering to the region.
It's the best place to take your toddler, good fun for them, an area all for them with toys and books, a good gathering place for parents and carers.
Love it at the Horsebridge. My toddler loves playing in the kiddie corner. Nice and relaxed and teas and coffees are great. Highly recommended

There has been substantial interest on various social media platforms regarding the Horsebridge Arts Centre and Cafe Revival. While the matter is currently in the hands of solicitors and a mediated meeting between the two parties is being sought, we are not able to comment further on the matter at this stage. We hope to be able to provide further information as soon as possible.
