Chilstone garden ornaments represent the highest standard of English craftsmanship - our work can be seen in some of the world's greatest gardens including the Royal Horticultural Gardens at Kew, at palaces such as Hever, Warwick and Kensington and in spectacular private gardens such as Sir Roy Strong's The Laskett on the Welsh borders.

Chilstone create beautiful garden ornaments, from fountains to statues and planters. Each piece is hand crafted and increases in value as it weathers. We also make bespoke items to order for gardens and house building as well as restoration projects. The late Michael Dibben founded Chilstone Garden Ornaments in 1953 after extensive research into the field of garden decoration and especially the need for a material to closely resemble natural antique stone. Chilstone began its long history at Great Linford Manor in Buckinghamshire and in 1976 the company moved to Sprivers, a beautiful National Trust property in Kent.

Chilstone have been hand crafting one of the largest ranges of cast stone garden ornaments in the UK for over 65 years from their workshop in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Our stone garden ornament range includes traditional stone urns and planters, garden statues and sculptures, sundials and stone fountains, among many other items all made by hand by our master stone craftsmen. We also make bespoke cast stone moulds and cast stone items on request. Cast stone is a brilliant value for money alternative to natural stone and dates beautifully when weathered.

Chilstone provide a bespoke architectural service to architects, builders, developers, landscapers and the general public. Every Chilstone component is made to order and architectural projects are estimated as a free service by our architectural estimating and CAD design team. Chilstone architectural stonework is perfect for detailing with excellent colour matching, a fine textured surface - identical to carved stone - and with the option of stainless steel reinforcement for load bearing components.
