Nigel Philips is an award-winning garden designer, teacher and enthusiast based in the South East. He trained at Merrist Wood College, and has been practicing professionally since 1981. Over the years, Nigel has been involved with a wide range of projects of varying complexities, giving him a broad knowledge and skill-set that led him naturally to teaching. Nigel's philosophy is to take great care in creating garden designs that relate closely to the wishes of the client and how they want to use their space, and also to ensure that the surrounding landscape and property is closely allied to the final garden.

From the initial garden survey through the final garden design drawing, Nigel's one-to-one Service allows customers to enjoy a single day dedicated to their garden design. This time-efficient and convenient service comes in several options, and all will enable customers to spend the day with Nigel, designing the garden together, offering as much input as they choose.
