I am a qualified Building Surveyor based in Gloucestershire and provide architectural design. I work with residential and commercial clients to help purchase and/or alter property. I went out to meet with a couple last night to talk through their plans to create a loft conversion in their recently bought property. As usual this was a free consultation and allowed me to explain the process involved with planning permission and building regulations, but also to try and pick out some areas of discussion that may or may not have been looked into this early stage.
I cover building surveying as well as architectural design for all elements of Planning permission, Listed Building consent and Building Regulations Approval. I believe in a clear working relationship and aim to be on the end of the phone or email to answer any queries and keep you updated with how your project is progressing. As energy prices soar and climate change causes us to consider our impact on the environment more often than ever, I aim to not only advise clients on how they can utilise a green approach to design their property, but also to make my own contribution by making the business as helpful to the environment as possible.
