A brick or block building requires elements that are also used in the construction of a timber frame building - namely the floor joists and the roof trusses. The design of these elements would be the same for both types of construction with the only variation being the method of fixing into the main structure. At Fforest Timber Engineering Limited we can design your floor joists (Easi-Joists®) or roof trusses for any type of building construction. We can supply roof trusses, cassette floors and Easi-Joists®.

Fforest Timber Engineering Ltd employ our own structural engineer, contracts managers and carpenters who are all experienced with the design and installation of timber frame. As well as housing our skilled teams have been involved in the design and construction of timber frame schools, hospitals, hotels, nursing homes and blocks of flats. Timber frame panels are engineered, designed built and managed by our highly experienced work-force. Our timber frame panels are manufactured off site in a factory-controlled environment allowing us to provide highly accurate timber frame panels. We are independent roof truss specialists offering high quality, made to measure roof trusses, designed and manufactured to meet your specific requirements. Roof Trusses provide a simple-to-erect engineered solution whilst being flexible, practical & cost effective using up to 40% less timber than a traditionally formed roof. We use the most up-to-date production methods combined with computer aided design helping us to achieve a competitive product whilst maintaining very high standards of quality.
