Our unique range of GRP doors meet and exceed these requirements and meet the European EN1634-1 standards of fire certification, meaning they are fire tested and approved for up to 5 hours. Manufactured from GRP our range of hygienic sliding doors have become increasingly popular, both in new buildings and as replacements for existing hinged doors. Hygienic Sliding doors require less valuable space than hinged doors and when operated produce less air disturbance making them ideal for environments where hygiene is a priority. The pressure moulded smooth seamless construction is easy to clean, does not harbour bacteria and is unaffected by water, steam and most chemicals/cleaning agents.

Unique to Dortek, our patented concealed intumescant strip is built into the door during the manufacturing process. This maintains a smooth, seamless profile ensuring that there are no seams or ledges where dirt and germs can gather.

Dortek Automations & Interlocking systems are designed to provide safe, efficient and convenient means of opening and closing doors in a controlled environment. Our systems can be connected to many types of activation devices from basic push button to a fully integrated Building Management System. Our products are available to install as part of a door package or separately to existing doors. Designed and assembled by Dortek in our own factory, automations can be installed at the same time as the doors offering a one stop, seamless installation.

Dortek hygienic doors are manufactured from high technology engineering GRP using a unique closed mould process. This creates a strong, uniform product with no seams or joins on the door surface and no voids, holes or crevices within for bacteria to harbour. With a smooth and seamless construction, Dortek doors have no ledges, recesses or right angles where dust or bacteria can be trapped and grow. Our doors are free of timber and other organic materials that promote bacterial growth. This makes them ideally suited to areas requiring maximum hygiene and cleanability.
