Solution: R Dawson Architect originally visited the client through an 'Architect in the House' initiative by Shelter. The client liked Richard's ideas and approach to the alterations, extensions and improving the thermal performance of the house. The commission was to design a full length rear extension and two storey side extension to incorporate the client needs and obtain Planning and Building Regulation approval with Kirklees Council based on an agreed scheme.
