Tom Black Architects have always made a concerted effort to secure a diverse range of work. Since its creation in 2011, Tom Black Architects have undertaken a number of commercial projects, primarily in the industrial sector, but also in the office and commercial sector and more recently in the catering, recreation and leisure sectors. When undertaking any commercial project, the focus is always on defining the core objectives of the client's requirements, before formulating a strategy or approach for developing these into a comprehensive brief.
Tom Black Architects have many years' experience of working in the housing sector, both social housing and private housing. Work within the private residential sector can be categorised either by projects for home owners or property developers. Typically this may range from home extensions and loft conversions to new build houses. In terms of work carried out for property developers, this has also seen the practice provide innovative solutions to converting existing buildings into numerous residential flats.
