Sophie Nguyen Architects is a RIBA Chartered practice dedicated to designing spaces that are beautiful, spacious and noble, no matter how small or complex they are. We are interested in urbanism and housing projects that create desirable places to live in. Our aim is to create engaging buildings that are born of their purpose, their context and their constraints. Our design process depends on communication; we listen and learn in order to determine the fundamentals driving a project, and evolve our response.
Sophie Nguyen Architects offers full architectural services, from conception to completion of the project, including contract administration. Our services are delivered in defined stages and follow the RIBA Stages 0 to 7 of the RIBA Plan of work 2013. This gives you the opportunity to commission our services for the stages relevant to your project. From the first meeting when we discuss your brief to completion of the project, we will assist you to achieve the project you wish to do. We can also assist you during the construction stage, including administering the building contract.
Casa del Sol was designed around the use of natural light - it is, quite literally, a sun trap in the centre of Lambeth, London.
Our focus this week is on a subject very close to our hearts; natural sunlight within the home. Especially during the current Pandemic, and with it being Winter, the benefits of being able to experience natural sunlight in our own homes are widely known and so important for our mental and physical.
