Pedder & Scampton is an Islington based architectural practice offering design and consultation whose work has a residential and community bias. We have a particular expertise in design for people with autism and other special needs. Please have a look through our portfolio or explore the services we offer and see the Notebook section for developing specialisms, prizes, visits and other interests.
Pedder & Scampton has made proposals for, or completed, over 100 private home projects in the last ten years. The projects shown represent just a small selection of these, and include new builds, full house refurbishments and extensions. We are also happy to carry out feasibility studies or work on just one part of a project. Whatever your property, we will apply our knowledge, skills and ingenuity to create elegant, practical and enjoyable changes to your home. We understand that space and budget are frequently at a premium and pride ourselves on maximising the potential of both - often with solutions you may not have considered.
Pedder & Scampton Architects Ltd is a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) registered practice. It's a small, busy office based in North London, with a very varied workload that encompasses projects all over London, throughout the UK and elsewhere. For instance we have recently worked on residential properties in Ireland, France and Scotland. We carry out projects with construction budgets of up to around 15 million. Both Directors, Helen Pedder and Gillian Scampton, have a particular interest in Community and Educational buildings in their widest sense and specialist residential accommodation for those with physical disabilities, mental health issues and autism.
