BLDA Architects has been established for over forty years. Our studios are based in Chelsea Harbour in London with a staff of around 35 architects and technical staff. We are commissioned by private individuals, family offices, corporate clients, governmental clients, and trusts both UK and overseas based. We have won a number of awards for our work. We achieve the highest quality of design paying the closest attention to our clients' briefing. Many of our commissions have included work in Conservation Areas and work to Listed Buildings Grade I, Grade II* and Grade II.
Our commercial work includes boutique hotels, highest specification offices, corporate headquarter fit-outs and retail in London's West End. We work for several of the London Estates in developing commercially viable high-end residential developments mainly in conservation areas.
BLDA has a long held expertise in bespoke houses for individual clients in Central London and abroad. Each director is skilled in working closely and personally with individual clients and their families. The Practice has close working relationships with many British and International Interior Designers. Through our great experience in the specialist nature of these projects we have formed relationships with the most skilful and painstaking contractors and craftsmen. The Practice has always been seen to add value to its projects by its aim to deliver to our clients more than was thought possible.
Many of our instructions include an appointment in respect of the interiors of our buildings. We work closely with many of Europe's leading interior designers. We have developed an approach to assist these designers in the realisation and construction of their work in private homes throughout the UK.
