We remodelled the ground floor to create a family kitchen / dining room space that became the heart of the house. Full height windows and folding glass doors were added. The SSA team designed and built a 3-bedroom home on a small urban site enclosed by mature trees. This required extensive public consultation with the local community and the council to obtain planning approval. Our research into innovative tree root irrigation and the use of special foundations enabled the team to build very close to the established trees, thereby maximising the site's development potential. The project is based upon Studio S Architects' previous planning permission Lullington Road. All of the houses and flats sold within 2 hours on the opening day. We redesigned several features to save money and our contractors were appointed to build the rear extension.

New build 4 storey Category A, B1 office block for single or multiple occupancy. Developed as part of a mixed-use masterplan. Constructed with pre-fabricated off-site timber frame panels from sustainable sources, brick and render. A sedum grassed roof is used for bio-diversity and provides a pleasant view for the adjoining neighbours. The building has a private outside space and is very popular with creative SME's that want local flexible office space in South London.
