As an RIBA Chartered Practice we will help you achieve your aspirations and vision, as well as add value to your project through good design and sound construction. We provide a service that extends well beyond producing a set of drawings. We will bring design skills and imagination to your project, handle the paperwork, prepare planning and building regulations applications, specifications and invite tenders from building contractors. On many projects we act as the contract administrator and are therefore able to work with you right through to the completion of your project.
Peter Lipinski and Alan Pates established Lipinski Pates Architects (LPA) in 1989 and both have over 25 years experience in the architectural profession. During their early careers, the partners gained valuable experience working on a range of different building types for a number of major firms of architects. At LPA we produce well thought out design solutions that respond to our client's needs. At the outset we find out what those needs and objectives are and will visit the premises if necessary to understand the context.
Commercial work is an expanding part of our workload and includes mixed office and residential developments, offices, space planning, graduate housing, retail projects and work to listed buildings.
The practice has completed a wide range of residential projects including renovations of complete houses, internal alterations, house extensions and new-build housing for private domestic clients and developers. We work closely with our clients at each stage of the project and our approach is one of personal attention to detail coupled with a strong emphasis on good design.
