Patrick Lewis Architects is a creative studio that designs buildings, interiors and furniture inspired by our clients, their buildings and the stories that weave them together. At the core of the practice philosophy, is the importance of making and collaborating. In our studio, Architectural models of details, rooms and entire structures are constantly being made to test ideas and allow a richer conversation with our clients. Many of our projects involve collaborations with artists, textile designers, weavers, furniture makers and many others.
The Workshop is a small and relatively quick exercise that we regularly undertake with new clients. We use it as an opportunity to listen to your requirements, test your ideas and show you some of ours. It comes with a fixed cost and allows you to get to know us and see what we can offer to you as creative designers. After The Workshop, if you enjoy working with us, and decide that you want to continue with the Project we offer Full Services. Full Services are divided into three sections that relate to stages in the construction project.
All of our projects involve people & buildings and with them comes a rich narrative of stories and histories. Much of what we do as designers is about listening and understanding these stories and responding through design with truly unique proposals. Nothing beats a model, for communicating with clients & contractors. The fact that a model is a three-dimension experience allows for a purer representation of the spaces & objects that we are describing. We work with a small & select group of main contractors on a regular basis and can help advise you as to the right builder for you requirements.
