Today, as disruptive innovation sweeps across industries, the speed at which business can reinvent itself has become critical to continued success. At Enterprise Architects we support business model innovation with a new breed of enterprise architecture capabilities. Enterprise Architects is a new kind of professional services firm. We believe an organisation's ability to align and reshape itself faster than the competition drives success. We also believe our breed of enterprise architecture can provide a unifying force, building a common vision and roadmap for business and tracing the change vision from strategic goals through to project delivery.
My current, favourite question for Executives and Architects is "How do you see Architecture operating in an Agile environment." This question usually elicits a wry smile and a response along the lines of "I will need to get back to you on that!" Many people are wondering how Architecture will fair in the world of Agile. My answer is I believe very well! Originally developed to deliver improved outcomes in software development, Agile was the hot management trend for 2017. There are a number of drivers behind this trend, but fundamentally executive teams are looking at new ways to deliver business outcomes and to create value in an environment of increasing complexity and disruption.
Enterprise Architects (EA) was founded in Melbourne, Australia in October 2002 by Hugh Evans, our CEO. With his background in traditional architecture, Hugh was motivated to bring a greater degree of planning and governance expertise to business transformation programs. EA soon became a magnet for enterprise architecture talent, providing the ideal environment for architects to access strategic projects with a host of tier-1 organisations. A decade on, EA stands as one of the world's premier employers in the enterprise architecture sector.
Enterprise Architects has developed a trusted network of relationships with world class organisations and globally recognised standards bodies. We collaborate and support partners who uphold a commitment to innovation and excellence in business design. FromHereOn is our own business model innovation. A wholly owned subsidiary of Enterprise Architects, FromHereOn operates in Europe and North America, serving global clients looking to undertake service transformation. With FromHereOn we have been fusing design thinking and architecture thinking to realise a holistic outcome, that connects with the pragmatists and the visionaries that are shaping the business of tomorrow.
