Designs shown on this web site are H2O London's real work and not showroom or studio photographs.
H2O designers understand bathrooms in terms of creative problem solving and style: a good design will maximise space retaining functionality and visually pleasing characteristics to give users a complete experience. Some planss are almost impossible to explain in a 2D drawing only therefore H2O's designers will communicate ideas to clients by drawing perspective views, making models or using CAD according to type of project. Only decades ago the bathroom was a place outside the house with a pan and running water sometimes, the luckier ones had a basin or a bath in the bedroom where water had to be carried with a bucket.
As the UK becomes more of a showering nation, shower design becomes ever more challenging. Busy people would normally prefer a shower in the morning as it is quicker than a bath and more cost effective also. Showers are a habit and taken in the evening are just as relaxing as a bath can be, even young children will not mind playing together in a walk in shower as well as they would play in a bath. H2O London specialises in bespoke shower design, supply and installation. In many shower rooms the situation just requires a bespoke shower, like in the images shown here.
This generously sized en suite bathroom lives in Clapham London SW4. Floor and walls are finished in glass composite tiles that fully reflect light around making the environment very luminous. The double basin vanity unit has 4 large drawers and storage cabinets on each side with even more storage at the top, on the opposite side, not visible here, again we find more storage and still plenty of walking space is left in the room. The vanity unit mirror is bespoke and was designed and made for the purpose with remote controlled lights.
A white, lacquered Italian kitchen fitted in SW London. Addressing specific user needs in terms of cooking style, this kitchen design features a second sink placed near the stove and the extra tall wall unit made to measure. The work top is in Blue Pearl granite and the splash backs and floor tiles are in glass. The colour changing LED plint mounted lights provide mood lighting for evening parties. The kitchen island provides support during preparation of food as it is positioned in the middle of the room. The extra sink and electric hobs help a lot during busy times. When the butler sink is busy with other preparation, water is still available at the island, also avoiding a trip, and if the Aga is full on with the main cooking the little electric hobs may sort out a sauce or two.
Previously a bathroom, the generous space available gave the opportunity to design a comfortable walk in shower in this flat in Kensington. The area is equipped with thermostatic valves and diverter together with a fixed shower head and a hand hose, a linear drain takes care of waste waters. On the other side a well sized vanity composition provides plenty of storage inside drawers and behind mirrored tall doors. The wall finish is in a light shade of lime stone which effortlessly blends itself within the coloured lights.
H2O London provides bathroom, kitchen, shower and steam room installation services in London and UK. A long standing relationship with experienced installers delivers excellent quality and good value for money. The installation process is perhaps the most important stage of the whole project: even the best quality bathroom and shower fittings or kitchen furniture will not last or work at their best when the installation is of poor quality.
It would be a titanic task to illustrate all the bathroom products available to H 2 O for clients, as an independent bathroom design consultancy H 2 O is not compelled to use anything in particular, products are chosen according to projects needs. However, given the type of clientele and the gigantic number of bathroom products on offer, some limits needed to be drawn so the kind of supply you can expect is normally from British or European manufacturers. The reasons for such a specific choice of bathroom products and manufacturers are simply based on quality and design originality, all products carry a guarantee of a minimum of 5 to 10 years, some up to 25 or 30 years.
Having a bespoke bathroom or any other interior, is like having a garment patterned, cut and sewn by a tailor specifically to your style and size of your own body. Valued user input and specific research are combined to inform the bespoke interior design process guiding towards a successful outcome.
