About Us

Cool Tech Ltd is based on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, established in 2006, with a mission to provide environmentally friendly, low energy solutions to industry and local authorities. We are specialists in comfort cooling, heating and lighting using energy saving environmental methods. Our business is aimed at introducing technologies that will drastically help with energy consumption for large organisations down to small and medium sized enterprises. Using governmental bodies such as the Carbon Trust we have introduced energy saving to many companies and local authorities installing green energy saving technologies which range from evaporative cooling, low energy lighting, solar thermal heating to air & ground heat source pumps.

Lighting

Everyone needs light to live, whether at home, at work, or at play. Cool-Tech Ltd can dramatically reduce lighting costs in domestic, commercial and industrial premises. For this process, we use LED Lighting. LED Lighting can be installed into many buildings including: Schools, Universities, Warehouses, Offices, Gyms, and Industrial units. If you're like one of the hundreds of facility managers with legacy lighting solutions, hungry for energy and utilising older tech ranging from vacuum fluorescent tubes to discharge type glass bulbs - you could be experiencing productivity and maintenance cost issues the moment there's a failure.

As part of our care and service to each client, we service and maintain each product we install to each business. This includes mainly the Evaporative Coolers, as well as the LED Lighting and the FAR Infrared Heating. A cleaner, greener way to cool your business and home using Evaporative Cooling. Cool-Tech Ltd provide a process of cooling air which is called Evaporative Cooling. This process is designed to improve costs, and save the environment, more than traditional air conditioning. Evaporative cooling can be installed into many buildings including: Schools, Universities, Warehouses, Offices, Gyms, and Industrial units.

Having been involved in business deals of up to 22 million over the last 30 years, I have a good understanding of the procurement process. Of course the obvious procedures must be followed during any purchase that is crucial to your business, a clear understanding of your requirements and a well thought out implementation plan. You need to research your potential suppliers carefully and have a coherent approach to the bidding process. Your decision to appoint is never based on price alone, many other factors come into play. For me, a potential suppliers approach to scoping a project and their plans for customer support are key indicators of their competence, attention to detail and to the business relationship they intend to share. What else? You have done your due diligence and are ready to appoint, yet there is one thing, one last thing. Call it experience, or gut instinct, but a feeling of trust is crucial when making key decisions to appoint a supplier. I have known Collen Baker for longer than either of us would care to remember. I trust him, simple as that, and would have no hesitation in recommending him and his business.
