XS CAD provides design support pre-construction planning, building information modelling (BIM), 2D CAD drafting, 3D modelling, DfMA/prefabrication models and drawings, Revit Family Creation, 3D rendered images and walk-through services for building engineering consultants/contractors and fabricators, architects, homebuilders, retailers and manufacturers across the world. Established 18 years ago in the United Kingdom and holding an ISO 9001:2015 certification, we have a global presence, with offices in the United States of America, Australia and Canada as well as a large production centre in India.
We work with retailers across the globe, supplying design documentation, 3D models and computer-generated images for planning, construction and project management. We use Autodesk's Revit to create and validate our work. Working to local production standards, we currently provide production drawing services for retail organisations in the apparel, restaurant, electronics and IT sectors. Working seamlessly with local project teams, we provide high-quality documentation. We provide complete retail construction drawings, including floor plans, internal and external elevations, construction plans, setting-out drawings, composite plans, finishing plans, lighting and ceiling plans, comprehensive equipment schedules and material and component take-off data using Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD and Solidworks.
XS CAD is trusted and employed by general contractors in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK to support the design process for architectural, structural and MEP disciplines. We create 3D building models using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for contractors. We also use these models to create 4D models. Architectural and structural 3D models created using Revit Architecture are then used for MEP validation and MEP coordination. XS CAD performs MEP spatial coordination and 3D modelling tasks. We then create detailed construction drawings used by MEP trade contractors.
HVAC mechanical system design refers to the design of elements of infrastructure, plant and machinery and tools and components of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and their system design. We provide comprehensive design support and HVAC design services for all stages of the design process, from concept, schematic, design development, tender to construction stages. XS CAD uses heat load software, such as CAMEL, Hevacomp for calculations and AutoCAD or Revit to create and provide mechanical engineering design services.
Our engineering services, also known as MEP or M&E services for MEP designers and consultants, MEP contractors, MEP manufacturers, MEP fabricators and MEP installers include: MEP design engineering, MEP coordination, MEP modelling and MEP drafting. Our team of trained designers, technicians, engineers and experienced multi-service spatial coordinators provide engineering design output, 3D models and drawings prepared to local standards and building codes for HVAC, mechanical, pipe work, plumbing, electrical and fire systems for hospitals, leisure centres, sports stadia, entertainment complexes, corporate offices, retail outlets, educational institutes and many others.
XS CAD provides a range of architectural design services to architects, designers and consultants keen on outsourcing architectural services. While we work to client requirements, our architectural design expertise is delivered by experienced architects, draftsmen and rendering professionals. We focus on architectural designs in BIM format delivered by our own skilled BIM modellers and BIM coordinators. Increasingly, we deliver these services via a retained team of professionals that are based in our offices but working solely for individual client projects.
We provide design support, 2D drafting, 3D modelling, 3D rendering and BIM solutions, for building services engineering, architecture, homebuilders, retailers and manufacturers in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and New Zealand. Our services in the architecture, homebuilding, retail, manufacturing and engineering sectors include providingCAD design and drafting services, AutoCAD drafting, Revit BIM modelling, 3D CAD drawing services, CAD modelling, architectural 3D rendering, 3D Walk-throughs, Prefabricated (DfMA) models and drawings, Revit family creation andArchiCAD 3D modelling and drafting services.
We provide comprehensive design support and electrical CAD drafting services for all stages of the design process, from concept, schematic, design development, tender to construction stages. For lighting design and particularly lux level calculations, we use DIALux and AGi32. For power and load calculations, we use PowerCAD, AutoCAD or Revit to create electrical drawings. We also utilise the latest technology to communicate and share files using web-based online collaboration systems, such as BIM 360 Design, as well as sophisticated, web-based markup tools.
