A free standing central kitchen island to match existing "shaker" style kitchen. The client wanted this unit to be as narrow as possible. To have two large stainless steel sinks with the deepest possible pan drawers opposite. Also a large two section pull-out ecological waste bin, with a wine rack making interesting use of the spare corner. Two more cupboards either side of the pan drawers to balance the design, shallow open shelves behind the turned corner pillars at the other end which houses a dishwasher too!

Spot On Joinery has been involved in many bedroom projects from painted T and G panelling to built in teenagers work stations. Bespoke design, construction and installation of wardrobes and related furniture to suit your requirements.

Fabulous work wouldn't have anyone else to work on the house. Mark has completed a number of projects on our house renovation including wood work on kitchen roof replacement, beautiful designed staircase, he has built door frames. doors, garden gates, put a wonderful kitchen into our property, etc. All his finish has been superb! Highly recommend him, such a nice guy as well.

Mark designed, built, and fitted for me a bespoke set of shelves and cupboards for two living-room alcoves. The angles in this room are very wonky, but Mark rose to the challenge brilliantly. He's without doubt an experienced and skilled tradesman, courteous at all times. I'm very happy with how the job turned out.

Having found the only 'joiner' in our local newspaper during Covid restrictions, we ended up with someone who did every aspect of the job badly. Luckily we found Spot On and Mark communicated with us almost immediately. Although he was very busy (as all good joiners would be), he did his best to find time for our work, even travelling out of his area. Mark is a creative problem-solver and met some real challenges that were left for him, re-using materials wherever he could. This joiner is a craftsman, very hardworking and taking great care in his work. He consulted with us at every stage and we felt really comfortable with him. We can't thank Mark enough and are so relieved that he resolved our situation. His work looks fantastic and he's worth far more than five stars!

We consulted with Mark on building a frame to hang a vestibule door we'd bought. Mark was very communicative throughout the process and gave us four well thought out designs to choose from. During the fitting process Mark was friendly and completed worked diligently, finishing the job in the time frame given. Overall we're delighted with the quality of the work and Mark's service.

I first asked Mark to replace a door frame and install a door. I wanted to see what Mark could do and what he is like to work with before making commitments for other work.
Since installing the first door he has successfully gone on to:
•Replace all doors in the home,
•Install 3 sets of pocket doors,
•Rearrange internal partition walls to make a new walk in wardrobe.
•Lay laminate flooring, skirting and coving.
Mark is great to work with. He takes my ideas, improves them and them executes an excellent job. He also listens and takes on-board ideas he’d not considered. His bespoke work is excellent – attention to detail ‘Spot on’.
Not only does he provide a service to my high standards, he does it in a very relaxed and friendly way. He’s totally trustworthy; I have no worries leaving him in my home unattended. He also gets on well with my 12 year old. We always know where he is in the house because he whistles to himself while working.
I’d recommend mark to undertake any activity – he’s a craftsman who seems able to turn his hand to anything.
