At Airclean, we have been manufacturing Air Filters for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems since 1981 from a factory located in Marden, just outside of Maidstone in Kent. We manufacture over 95% of Air Filters we sell encompassing all variations of Disposable Panel Filters, Washables, Kitchen Canopy Grease Filters, Activated Carbon Cells, Air Filter Medias and HEPA Filters in both Standard and Non Standard Sizes. Our Fabrications Division operates at the same premises manufacturing Air Filter Housings and complete Filtration Systems and Air Handling Units to suit a range of applications.

Since 1981 Airclean has manufactured a full range of Air Filters for the Heating and Ventilation Industry, originally specialising in the non- standard market including filtration systems for the Air Conditioning Industries' more special requirements. We pride ourselves on the fact that we manufacture over 95% of the products that we sell, unlike many other manufacturers. We have always specialised in the manufacture of Non-Standard Air Filters, but we have also built up a vast experience of Technical Knowledge across a range of disciplines in the Heating and Ventilation Industry.

Airclean have been manufacturing and designing Grease, Smoke and Odour Reduction systems for ventilation in commercial kitchens and food production outlets for over 25 years. We share our experience and knowledge with consultants, contractors, environmental health officers and architects to ensure effective nuisance and pollution control system which can both filter and purify air being discharged from a commercial premises in line with the essential DEFRA Guidance. All kitchens are different and our grease, smoke and odour control solutions have to be carefully selected to strike a balance between performance, cost, space and the style of cuisines that they cook.

Cleaning air conditioning and ventilation systems is essential to remove the build-up of dust, grease and bacteria in ductwork. Therefore failure to remove this build-up will result in dirty and unhealthy air drawing into the building. As a result contaminated air can affect occupant's health and productivity. Due to excess of grease and oil build-up in ventilation and ductwork, it will increases the risk of fire. Because fires will rapidly spread throughout the duct by igniting the grease deposits, allowing it to strech through your building.

This unit is suitable for all applications using suitably specified single phase induction motors. Designed for continuous operation with 6 amp loads respectively at 30 degrees C ambient on single phase 220/240V v 50 HZ supply. Magnahelic Gauges offer a method of measuring differential pressure accurately and easily across filter sections to indicate dirty air filters, room and duct pressures. The Magnahelic Gauge's body and bezel is manufactured from die cast aluminium, and has a clear acrylic PVC facia giving this product a quality finish and a long service life.

Airclean manufature Air Handling Units to specification design for agents and OEM clients across the UK. Our skilled fabrications division use CAD and CNC punching techniques to build air handling units in sheet steel constructions and the more common aluminium pentapost construction system. Where required we can offer a design and build service for bespoke AHU for a range of applications. Airclean manufacture twin fan air handling units ideally suited for Toilet Extract Systems where an automatic change over is available should a fan failiure occur.

Airclean manufacture air filter housings, frames and casings, for all styles of air filters including panels, activated carbon filters and HEPA filters. Housings are available for duct mounted systems, front withdrawal within air handling units or ventilation voids, and terminal style housings for mounting within ceilings. Using CNC our fabrication and sheet metal team produce high quality housings for all applications. Front Withdrawal Frames are suitable to hold an individual bag or panel type air filter, or a combination of a 47mm Panel and Bag Filter.

Air Filter Medias are available in thicknesses ranging from 5mm to 50mm, and in filtration grades G2, G3, G4, and M5 to EN779. Generally air filter medias come in large rolls or sheets but can be cut to a customers desired size. Glass Fibre Media can be used for ventilation and air conditioning systems either as a main filter or as a pre filter to higher efficiency units. Glass Fibre Filter Media is produced from a continuously spun glass filament into a graded blanket. A finer laminate backing increases the dust holding capacity and efficiency.

Airclean Bag Filters are manufactured at our works in Kent in a variety of grade including G3, G4, M5, M6, F7, F8, and F9 to EN779. Bag Filters are manufactured with deep pockets and lofted filtration media that is sewn and fixed to a metal or plastic "header" frame, that can be slid and sealed into frames built into Air Handling Units, Air Filter Housings, and Ductwork. The deep pockets utilised by Bag Filters allow for higher Face Velocities and greater dust holding capacities than Panel Air Filters across the same face sizes, and often at a lower resistance to airflow.
