We offer a full design service for renewable technologies from your project plans to enable you to specify your system and ensure that it is fully integrated into your new build project. We complete a full survey of your property to fully understand the requirements of your needs and those of the property, we produce full heat load calculations for Heat Pump installations to ensure that the system is ideally matched to your property. All installations are typically completed within a week and are fully managed by ourselves.
Air Source Heat Pumps provide a quick and cost effective alternative to oil or gas heating systems for swimming pools. Installation is a relatively simple procedure with a single standalone unit required coupled to a new high efficiency heat exchanger to transfer the energy from the Heat Pump to the swimming pool water. In properties requiring an upgrade to the whole pool and house heating system, Ground Source Heat Pumps can be used to replace the whole house heating system and also the pool heating system with a single unit capable of providing the energy needed to run the entire system at a considerably lower cost than an oil or gas fuelled system.
A Sussex based building contractor came to ourselves with a new build property under the following search criteria: Air source heat pump installer Sussex Underfloor heating installer Sussex The property was over 5,000 square foot, 5 bedrooms. As a company we installed / commissioned three Panasonic heat pumps, capable of heating, cooling and hot water. The changes to the Non-Domestic RHI scheme are now launched increasing the payment levels for Ground Source heat pumps and introducing Air Source heat pumps into the range of eligible technologies for this scheme.
Due to the high level of similarity of the technology, installations methods and professional training and accreditation between Air to Water Heat Pumps and Air to Air Heat Pumps we are also able to offer Air Conditioning systems. As the British climate is so unpredictable, it makes sense to consider using an Air to Air Heat Pump. It will provide excellent air conditioning in warm periods with the additional benefit of highly efficient heating in winter, ventilation mid season, is draught free and purifies the air.
A Ground Source Heat Pump is a device that takes low grade energy from the ground and converts it into useable heat that we can use to heat our houses or water. Ground Source Heat Pumps use electricity but not as a fuel but to power the process by which they convert the low grade energy into heat. Because of this Ground Source Heat Pumps are able to be highly efficient as they may only use a quarter of the electrical energy compared to the amount of heat energy they create. Ground Source Heat Pumps are designated as a renewable technology as the source from which they draw energy, the ground, is replenished by the sun every day with a peak during the summer.
As a company we design, install and maintain underfloor heating systems. Typically these will be alongside an air source heat pump or ground source heat pump but can also be installed independently to run alongside another heating system. We design systems on a room by room basis taking allowances for all potential heat losses, insulation and floor coverings. This then allows us to advise you accordingly and ensure we design your system to run at the lowest flow temperature throughout to make your system as efficient and cost saving as possible.
As a company with over a decade of experience in heat pump instillations, underfloor heating installations amongst other renewable technologies, we are well versed in maintaining systems whether we have installed the system or not. We will always advise you of your warranty upon discussing a system with yourself and can advise on upgrades accordingly. As a company we also carry out all our own warranty work on instillations where possible. If your system has been installed by ourselves you will be well informed on your warranty and aware that we work hard to ensure your system is always working at peak efficiency.
As a fully accredited MCS company who can design and install RHI applicable systems to meet your needs we focus on customer satisfaction. Whether a heating system (heat pumps) or heat emitter (underfloor heating) we will ensure we design a system that matches your needs. Our knowledge and experience means we can help advise you on how to improve your homes efficiency, lower your running costs and increase your comfort at home. We are fully accredited to give you an RHI applicable air source heat pump design and ground source heat pump design.
As an MCS accredited company we will survey, design, install and maintain solar systems across Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London. We are committed to our relationships with our customers and as a Microregeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) registered company and as a market leader, we are able to offer our customers the best balance of advice, knowledge, practical experience and continued support. We are also able to ensure we design and install systems for our customers that meet the highest regulatory standards and are eligible for the governments FIT scheme (Feed In Tariff), your opportunity to earn money for each kWh of electricity you generate.
A wet underfloor heating system is an ideal accompaniment to a Heat Pump driven system as the flow temperatures delivered by the Heat Pump are perfectly matched to the needs of this type of heat source. A radiator system circulates air around the radiator, drawing cooler air across the floor back to the radiator and, more importantly across your feet and legs creating a cooler crafty feel. The warm air circulates up from the radiator toward the ceiling giving a large temperature differential between the floor and the ceiling.
