James Mercer's Air Conditioning Department is based in Preston and was established in 1998, it is set up to carry out the design, installation, service and maintenance of all the major air con equipment manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Daikin, Fujitsu, Airedale and Sanyo. We believe that comfort cooling is becoming increasingly necessary as a basic requirement, and as part of our continued expansion and development the air conditioning department will compliment our other departments namely design and build, contracts and service and maintenance.
As a long-established company in the field of Mechanical Building Services, The James Mercer Group Ltd has expanded its maintenance operations and currently provides a responsive and cost effective service across the North West of England. Operating within a 90 mile radius from head office in Preston the Service Division works for Private Industry, Local Authorities and Health Authorities completing building maintenance and services for a range of clients. A call handling system is used for logging all calls and also provides a comprehensive record and service history for all works undertaken of our building services.

Supported by Contracts Managers and CAD operators the department is able to successfully manage building services contracts up to a value of 8 million. Our mechanical building services include designing, installing and maintaining air conditioning, plumbing and ventilation ductwork. Our main office is based in Preston but our mechanical engineers can complete services all over the North West.
