Energy use in homes accounts for 14% of all CO2 emissions in the UK and sustainable energy solutions are more important than ever before. Our radiant underfloor systems keep you warm using less energy than central heating systems and with this increased efficiency, you can save money on your heating bills too. Now celebrating our 25th year of bringing warmth to millions of people across the world, Warmup's range of heating systems, controls and accessories are trusted for their high-quality design, ease of installation and market-leading warranties.

We are a British-based research driven company, focusing on developing innovative heating solutions that bring energy-efficient warmth to our customers' lives. Warmup won the Queen's Award for Enterprise for International Trade, 2020. We aim to drive the global use of energy-efficient heating solutions through our commitment to research, product innovation and exceptional service.

As the heart of the home, our kitchens tend to be the most-used room in the house and need to be able to cater for entertaining, cooking and relaxing. Underfloor heating is ideal for use in kitchens as it provides an 'invisible' approach to home-heating, perfect for rooms with little-to-no wall space for radiators. Warmup's systems are competitively priced and due to the greater energy-efficiency of underfloor heating compared to typical central-heating systems; you can expect much lower running costs too.

Underfloor heating systems heat-up a room much faster than traditional centrally-heated radiators and require less energy to do so. To make your heating even more efficient and to save even more money on your heating bills, we recommend you also install Warmup Insulation to work alongside the floor-heater. Underfloor insulation is important in reducing heat-loss and also rapidly improves the heat-up time of the floor heating system. Warmup insulation dramatically reduces heat-loss, keeping the warmth inside the room, saving you both energy usage and money.

If you're building your dream home or working on new developments within the construction sector, consider specifying floor heating as part of your project and enjoy an energy-efficient, discreet heating solution. Installing a water or electric underfloor heating system as part of a new build project is often a simpler process than retrofitting a heater within a renovation project. This is because you can take the dimensions and needs of the system into account during the design stages, specify the optimal subfloor construction and zoning area layout for your chosen heater and making sure that ceiling heights will not be affected.

Installing radiant floor heating in a basement can maximise the potential of the space by turning it into a large and cosy family room or work space. Whether you are constructing a new basement or refurbishing an existing basement in your home, a floor heated basement can double your living space. Older basements are often the last room in the home to be renovated and are frequently left to be simply unheated storage spaces or utility rooms but by installing floor heating, your fantasy basement conversion can become a reality.

Floor heating for wooden floor finishes is increasingly popular amongst homeowners. Warmup systems have been extensively researched and developed for use with a wide variety of wooden floor options. The key with radiant-based heating of wood flooring is the wood's thermal conductivity; the thinner and more dense the wood, the quicker the heat-up time and therefore, the more efficient the system. Using a Warmup Thermostat to control the underfloor heating system facilitates an optimum temperature output that never exceeds 27°C - warm enough to heat your home but not too hot that it may damage your wooden flooring.

Investing in a conservatory is a popular choice with homeowners. Not only does it give you extra living space, you will often be adding value to the price of your home with minimal building disruptions too. Many people use conservatories as summer spaces, as areas to enjoy the sunshine and the sights of a garden. Having a floor-heated conservatory creates a unique living space that can be enjoyed through the cooler months too, allowing you to embrace sunny winter days from the warmth of your own home. Floor heating is also an invisible system, giving you more space to enjoy, as no bulky radiators are needed.

Once primarily used in a purely industrial setting, polished concrete is now an increasingly popular flooring choice for home renovations and new-build projects across the world. Polished concrete flooring is hard-wearing and easy to clean whilst adding a sense of modernity and luxury to a space. Due to their high thermal-mass, concrete floors are ideal to be heated by an underfloor heating system. Concrete provides quick heat-up times and retains heat well, even storing the warmth produced by solar gain, making a heated polished concrete floor a great option to improve the comfort and warmth of your home.

Warmup offers a wide range of products for vinyl underfloor heating. Both water and electric underfloor heating are suitable under vinyl floors. The temperature of the heating system with vinyl should not exceed 27°C. Therefore, if you are considering radiant heating with vinyl planks as the sole source of heat, carry out a heat loss calculation first to ensure the heated floor will be providing you with sufficient amount of heat. The most suitable underfloor heating system to use with vinyl flooring is dependent on which kind of vinyl flooring you are using and whether the room you are installing the new system in is a ‘Wet' or ‘Dry' room: bathrooms typically being considered Wet and living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens being Dry.

The bathroom was originally designed to be purely functional but it is now an important place to relax and unwind. Installing floor heating will add luxury when you want to pamper yourself and take the chill off tiles on a cold morning. This space is a personal sanctuary that sets the tone for both the beginning and end of your day. Having a floor heating system is also widely considered a key selling point, adding value to your home. Underfloor heating is increasingly popular in bathrooms and suitable for both new-builds and renovations.

Underfloor heating systems provide an energy-efficient, contemporary heating solution for either a single room in your home or your whole house. Floor heaters allow total design freedom when renovating your home and offer lower long-term running costs than traditional heating systems. Warmup provide a wide range of electric and water systems that are suitable for installation in every room in your home and with every kind of subfloor type and floor finish. Floor heating uses radiant heat technology to warm the objects and people in the room from the floor up as opposed to central-heated radiators which focus on heating just the air of a room.

Living rooms are often the most social of spaces in your home; they're where you entertain and spend time with friends and family. Installing an underfloor heating system in your lounge enhances the comfort and cosiness of the room, making it a place where you can truly relax. Underfloor heating is an energy-efficient, cost effective solution to your living room's heating needs. Alongside the bedroom, living rooms are typically the room in your home where you spend the most time; after a long day at work it's the space where we relax and renew ourselves.

With no need to set-up a heating program, the Warmup MSTAT is our most traditional heating controller - allowing you to set your ideal temperature immediately with a twist of the dial. MSTAT is a manual room thermostat suitable for use with electric and hydronic underfloor heating systems and comes with a 3 year warranty. Warmup's older models of manual and programmable thermostats: XSTAT, OCC2, TSTAT-2 Door and TSTAT-Flap are not available for purchase anymore but if you are using one in your home, they are still supported and you can find the operating manuals for these discontinued models below.

Cold winter weather can add extra strain on your home, especially when there is need to shovel and salt driveways, terraces, walkways or stairs or clear snow build-up from your roof or gutter. Warmup's range of snowmelting systems use advanced heating technology to help eliminate these problems, efficiently and automatically. We offer a selection of snowmelting solutions that gently heat roofs, gutters, driveways and pavements around a building, helping to prevent dangerous ice and snow build up.

A good night's sleep is dependent on a comfortable and snug environment in which to truly relax and installing underfloor heating in your bedroom is a great way to improve the quality of your sleep. The need for even heat distribution and a comfortable room temperature make underfloor heating the perfect choice for a bedroom, creating an ideal environment to recharge in after a long day. Underfloor heating utilises radiant heat to gently heat the room to the desired comfort temperature from the floor up.

Water, also called wet or hydronic underfloor heating systems are a popular choice for extensions and new constructions. The system uses water for heating, so it can be linked to virtually any heat source from a standard boiler to newer sustainable technologies, such as solar thermal energy or heat pumps. Each system we provide is tailored during the project's design stage to get an optimal balance between the system performance and efficiency. Once complete, the lifetime warranty on our heating pipes provide true peace of mind that the system will continue to perform.

Here at L Johnson plumbing and Heating we love warm up. We advise all of our customers to go with the warm up system with all of our bathrooms. All of our customers love the usability of the stylish controller units and we will carry on using this system into the future!

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of having a Warmup engineer attend and issue with a heater. Phil called me with an eta and gave me time to get to site to meet him. On arrival he shook my hand and asked what the issue was, after this he got to work in a very calm and controlled manner. He also advised the customer of the steps he would take and showed myself and the customer every stage. He resolved the issue and could not have been more helpful and I'm so impressed with proper customer/ installer service. I cannot speak highly of how much I appreciated this experience. Please pass this onto Phil and I would recommend Warmup very highly to future customers. Cheers Warmup and Phil

I took the time to contact Warmup UK via their website form and never got a reply about my faulty unit. We had Warmup heat matting fitted around the house linked to one of the manual units. All was working well until the thermostat simply gave up, well to be precise it blew whilst in our wall! Still awaiting a reply, perhaps this review my change their urgency to help.
