As an active member of several professional bodies, Lewis Hart Security Services ensures that all staff are fully trained in all aspects of security. Following guidelines laid down by the SIA, a thorough check (including the Criminal Record bureau) is made into the background of all staff before being appointed to a location.

They include customers, employees, regulators, suppliers, the community and the environment.

The installation of close circuit television is a useful tool to assist in the prevention and/or the detection of theft etc. Reports from our customers indicate that ALL systems 'fall down' unless the system is effectively monitored and some form of manned response is available. With this in mind and customer inspired, Lewis Hart Security Services provides a CCTV Monitoring and response service which briefly consists of our 24 hour control-room monitoring CCTV pictures that are usually activated by intruders on site.

For an annual fee, we will hold in a secure location, and under strict control, a set of keys to our customer's premises, and be the first responder to alarm activations. On attendance at the premises, our Mobile Patrol will confirm the integrity of the location, if necessary organise boarding up services, staying on site until the location is secure. They will then reset alarms, informing our control-room of progress at all times. A set fee is charged for call-outs, which usually includes the first two hours on site.

All of our uniformed officers are issued with personal radio/mobile telephone enabling them to remain in constant contact with 24 hour control-room. Each officer completes an Assignment Log whilst on duty, a copy of which is available for site management files. Where required and at little cost to our clients, Lewis Hart Security Services can install a series of electronic clocking points. This facility is particularly useful in monitoring the patrol pattern around a large factory or other similar installation.

Firstly, we can visit premises outside normal working hours, confirming that the integrity of the property has not been compromised. Once again a series of electronic clocking points can be installed around the location, ensuring that a full patrol has been made. The patrol, which is usually carried out on foot include physically ensuring all the doors and windows are secure, no alarms have been activated or vandalism has been carried out against the property. The second type of mobile visit is usually conducted on empty buildings/property, In addition to the first type of patrol our guards can inspect the interior of the location, monitoring utility connections, helping to prevent damage from water, gas or fire.
