Biometric verification is any means by which a person can be uniquely identified by evaluating one or more distinguishing biological traits. Unique identifiers include fingerprints, hand geometry, earlobe geometry, retina and iris patterns, voice waves, DNA, and signatures. Micro Alarms can offer Biometric fingerprint readers and hand geometry readers as part of our access control portfolio. These type of readers integrate with high level access control, replacing the need for PIN or Proximity tokens.

Micro Alarms can design and install intruder alarms compliant with all the latest regulations, whilst tailoring the system to meet your personal requirements. Our quality management systems will ensure installation to the highest standards. Systems can be designed as Audible only, indicating an alarm by activating an external siren and flashing strobe light; or systems can be designed to include off-site signalling equipment such as Auto dialler or equipment that transmits signals directly to a third party alarm receiving centre, such as Redcare GSM or Duelcom GPRS.
