Our main contracting yard in Hemel Hempstead has been improved and is perfectly situated for access in and around London and the Northern Home Counties, moreover, our modern offices in Berkhamsted provide additional yard and manufacturing facilities.

For the larger projects, we have a vast range of commercial and industrial scaffolding that will suit the needs of your job. Many of our commercial and industrial projects combine the unique characteristics described on the other scaffolding services pages. Complex multi storey new build construction can often be combined with occupied premises, or temporary roofs and the safety requirements associated with our refurbishment projects. Clients can have particular requirements to suit business or public service premises, and these may require out of hours working or impose particular restrictions on material deliveries and collections.

Making sure you have the right scaffolding solution is vital, which is why our team of experts are on hand to design the perfect system for you and your project. Clearly with the increased scope of TG20:13 much more scaffold is now included within the 'generic' designs to which it relates. However, we believe that design is much more than ensuring that the calculations work, and the scaffold will not technically fail. Framework's approach to design is to consider every aspect of the access solution.

We believe that the flexibility offered by traditional tube and fitting scaffolding makes it a truly versatile solution. A significant proportion of the work we do is in complex, bespoke, new build multi storey construction, and our tube and fitting designs are implemented to integrate with every trade, and every construction detail. Adaptions can easily be introduced whilst maintaining the integrity and safety of the design. Our vast stock levels are routinely inspected and our quality control procedures ensure that any damaged equipment is quickly removed from our working stock and replaced or repaired.

Our core product is tube and fitting scaffolding, but we also utilise a number of proprietary system scaffolding components to help us with particular access issues. We use Combisafe site access stairs extensively, and Layher staircases for public access applications. We have been manufacturing our own version of the recently approved NASC style loading bay gate since 1997 and use these on all of our sites. We carry large stocks of Heras fencing as this is widely used on our refurbishment projects.

Our experience of traditional build generally caters for buildings approaching 10 storeys high. When designing your access solution we think about not only the bricklayers and flooring contractors, but also the carpenter and roofer along with all of the facade finishing details, balconies, canopies and other unique aspects of your scheme. Our loading bay, staircase and protection works will all be designed to progress your project at an optimum pace by providing as much access for as many trades concurrently as we safely can.

We deliver and install complex temporary roofing solutions, tailored to the exact needs of you and your project, using only the most suitable systems and techniques. Our temporary roofing experience ranges from typical small domestic tin sheet applications, to large scale projects utilising the Combisafe UBIX system. We have also shown a recent project of our own on the case studies page where we successfully completed a series of these roofs extending to over 6,000 square metres. The primary purpose for any temporary roof is to protect the works from the elements, but the weight of the system, the design of the supporting scaffold and the logistics involved in erecting the roof on occupied premises can be just as challenging.

Any form of prefabricated construction brings its own access challenges and we pride ourselves on bringing practical proposals to the project. We are proud to have worked with the largest timber frame manufacturers in the country, providing a range of access solutions to suit a variety of different projects. Our access solutions entail the erection of scaffolding ahead of the frame construction, integrating with the use of cassette floors and roofs, glulam structures and many prefabricated components.
