The largest and best provider of temporary access in all regions of the UK. Dating back to 1919, Lyndon SGB (formed by the joining of Lyndon Scaffolding & SGB in 2019), is part of BrandSafway - a leading global provider of access and specialized services. With locations in Aberdeen, Barry, Birmingham, Bristol, Broxburn, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Ipswich, Leeds, London and Manchester (along with our vertical access brand, Taylor's Hoists in Duxford, England), Lyndon SGB provides comprehensive total vertical and scaffolding access solutions for the commercial construction, industrial and infrastructure markets in the UK.

Lyndon SGB is a leading scaffolding and access service provider. Customers choose us as their temporary works partner of choice to help them get their projects done safely, on time and on budget. We aim to drive organisational performance through our employees. This is achieved by ensuring all employees are informed about activities within the organisation, including the aims and objectives and how individual employees contribute towards them. We're building a culture that makes us feel valued and empowered to provide the right solution, by working together and helping others do the same.

Temporary roofing and shelter systems from Lyndon SGB can provide a highly effective solution that can be quickly installed at virtually any location, and with an impressive array of sizes. Whether you need to envelop the whole building, the roof or specific work areas, the temporary roofing and shelters offer a versatile solution to any project. From controlled temperature environments, encapsulation, buildings or workshops, or protection decks. The temporary roofs are a highly efficient modular system which are fast to erect and dismantle, and have the flexibility to allow for the removal of key sections whilst under cover to permit the craneage and installation of plant and machinery.

Did you know that high-risk work with asbestos must only be undertaken by a licensed contractor? And that to carry out licensable work with asbestos without a licence can lead to a criminal prosecution. Lyndon SGB is one of a small number of scaffolding companies operating in the UK who are currently permitted by the HSE to undertake licensed scaffolding work with asbestos. Lyndon SGB has held an asbestos licence for over 25 years and is highly experienced in this field. This ancillary licence enables us to erect and dismantle scaffolding, to provide access for the licensable work where it is foreseeable that the scaffolding activity is likely to disturb the asbestos.

Lyndon SGB has been synonymous with scaffolding through our pioneering work in the product's development. Having been the innovator of tubular steel scaffolding, we have been at the heart of all major development in the market ever since. We offer an extensive range of scaffold tube, fittings and boards, and accessories capable of following the most complex building and plant profiles, fitting into awkward spaces and accommodating changing requirements. We can make a system adaptable for almost any access application.

Lyndon SGB sets high standards and this was recognised by Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) which awarded Lyndon SGB the safe contractor of the year award in 2009, a highly prestigious award as it placed Lyndon SGB at the top of all SSE's European supply chain. The FGD project at Fiddlers Ferry was the largest single project Lyndon Scaffolding at the time had delivered with a scaffolding value in excess of 9 million in 18 months. The information may be shared with companies within the Brand group of companies which may be located outside the European Economic Area.

Looking at the evolution of Lyndon SGB explains much of the philosophy behind the success of the business today. Everything Lyndon SGB does is aimed at providing the best temporary access possible. To make the combined business the best provider of temporary access in all regions of the UK. The founders, Tommy and Paddy Lynch established Lyndon Scaffolding in 1968. Both brothers were scaffolders for over 20 years. As a result they have a total understanding of what it takes to operate a successful scaffolding business at the sharp end.

Lyndon SGB's beam systems offer a complete lacing and bracing system, specially designed to handle greater loads while providing large clear spans for bridging large openings. The innovative design and quality of the system ensures it is compatible with system or scaffolding boards and the need for tube and fitting is eliminated. The system offers a high degree of versatility, it is not just a beam but a complete lacing, bracing and decking system providing significant reductions in erect and dismantle times.

Lyndon SGB offers stable, sturdy and convenient staircases, which are essential on many scaffolds and elsewhere on construction sites to enable workers to get to and from their place of work at height. Our range of staircases are suitable for both professional trades and members of the public. The inherent variability allows ascending/descending stairs and other modes of access of all kinds and dimensions to be quickly assembled from just a few system components. Typically designed and integrated into the main scaffold, the staircases provide a convenient, fast and effective method of evacuation from a building in the event of an emergency.
