Crossway Scaffolding's nationwide Hygienic Division has experience and industry sector knowledge in providing specialist protection or screens whilst work is being undertaken in sensitive areas for example food factories, shopping centres or highly sensitive production facilities, where dust control may become a problem. From first interview Crossway Scaffolding demonstrated they understood what protection was needed to achieve, both from public protection point of view and as a working platform, working closely together with ourselves over a number of weeks the scheme was developed further and nal designs produced with some truly innovative solutions.

Crossway Scaffolding Group is one of the major scaffolding contractors in the North of England, covering the North of England and the M62 corridor from the East to the West coast. We deliver all aspects of scaffold erection, maintenance, inspection, dismantle and design on commercial, industrial, construction and rail projects. Our annual turnover is £6m and we are capable of handling contracts of any size. 85% of our work is repeat business and we pride ourselves on our impeccable health and safety record and our personalised, first class, quality service.

The type of projects that regularly require our scaffolding expertise range from corporate buildings and shopping centres, to care homes and sports venues. We are also experienced in providing access for road bridges and have carried out work and installations on reservoirs and water treatment works.

When it comes to the refurbishment of buildings of national or historial importance, it is imperative that scaffolding is erected with great care so as not to damage the fabric of the structure. Our experienced team of engineers and design consultants have the experience working in the heritage sector on buildings including churches and listed buildings, ensuring the project is in safe hands. We work collaboratively with the client at all stages of the project, and delivery on time and budget.

We are able to work on all areas of the rail network providing scaffolding and access to multiple structures including viaducts, bridges and stations. We are also approved installers of ScaffFloat™ to provide floating access to our rail and infrastructure projects. Our highly experienced in-house designers and engineers regularly work in partnership with our clients to provide innovative solutions to complex rail projects.
