IRM Roofing was contracted to undertake industrial gutter cleaning in Northampton, to a large office outlet. The existing gutters had not been cleaned for four years and were experiencing problems with filling up and overflowing internally into the warehouse below. We dispatched a two man IRM roofing team over a ten day period to Northampton, to clean out the six 100m long industrial gutters, and to bag and remove all the detritus and rubbish from site via skip. During the works the team also unblocked numerous syphonic outlets across the gutters.
IRM Roofing was instructed by Coventry City Council to carry out industrial leaking roof repairs in Coventry at the Lythalls Lane Industrial Business Park. The existing brickwork and compo flaunting was deteriorating on the pillars due to years of weathering and rainwater ingress, causing leaks and damp forming to the interiors of the property. It was decided to weather the brickwork with a formed metal cap flashing to be installed by IRM Roofing. We first installed OSB timber board to give maximum support with galvanized steel support brackets every 1,000mm.
IRM Roofing were contracted to carry out industrial gutter repairs in Stafford at a Ministry of Defence site on behalf of Lawlors Construction. The industrial gutter repairs were part of a full refurbishment of four hangers, with Plygene Gutterline being used to reline the gutters, providing a twenty year warranty. Overall there were four valley gutters to reline, each measuring 60 linear metres. The total combined length of the four gutters measured 240 linear metres, and the Plygene gutter repairs in Stafford were completed over a two week period, using a specialist four man team of our Walsall Plygene Gutterline approved installers.
IRM Roofing was contracted to carry out industrial roofing repairs in Coventry, on behalf of Coventry City Council. Our task was to refurbish 350 square metres of industrial roofing (to smarten the appearance) and to rectify roof leaks. We dispatched two of our roofing specialists to carry out the industrial roofing repairs in Coventry, over a three week period, with scissor lifts and staging boards being used throughout. Triple wall polycarbonate panels and bars were used for the glazing elevation and Flexacryl waterproofing compound was utilised for the roof cracks.
IRM Roofing was contracted to carry out industrial roofing repairs in Swindon, for Level FM Ltd, on a building approximately 25 years in age and in need of some refurbishment. The existing roof coating was de-laminating from the metal substrate and the gutters were leaking across the 600 metre square roof with sloping feature section, plus the fascia needed a re-paint. With the client requiring minimum ten year guarantees for a new lease, we selected specialist industrial roofing products for the three different aspects of the industrial roofing repairs in Swindon.
Walsall based Industrial Roofing and Maintenance Ltd was contracted to carry out some industrial roofing repairs in Burntwood Staffordshire, on behalf of the renowned Manor Vinegar company, established in 1895. It was part of a number of industrial roofing repair and maintenance works that IRM Roofing have carried out at this plant. Over time rain water had accumulated on the lower section of the 5 metre high roof, causing a leak into the offices area below. So our task was to clean the detritus from the 40 metre square area, then prepare and over felt with two layers of 4mm thick Torch On felt.
Industrial Roofing in Walsall were contracted to carry out a complete industrial roof refurbishment in Telford, Shropshire for Midland Alloy Ltd. The roof refurbishment in Telford spanned three industrial units, over an area of 3,800 metres squared, and took a team of six of our Walsall industrial roofing experts eight weeks to complete. Before work commenced the rooflights were old and degraded, the gutters were rusting, the roof plastisol coating was peeling off and the metal substrate was beginning to rust.
IRM Industrial Roofing in Walsall were instructed to install Kingspan composite roofing in Birmingham at Midland Heart, the largest housing and regeneration group in Birmingham West Midlands. The job description was to replace the existing single skin metal roofing on three single story building blocks with Kingspan composite roofing panels. The metal roof was experiencing condensation problems to which the Kingspan composite roofing panels cured. Overall the project took our team of composite roofing installers three weeks to complete.
IRM roofing was tasked to carry out industrial gutter cleaning in Walsall, on behalf of Echo Island, a leading fashion retailer from the Midlands. The leaking warehouse gutter in Walsall, across the thirty linear metre long and six metre high industrial valley roof needed cleaning together with gutter joints sealing, so we dispatched a two man team to carry out the works. The first stage was to clean out the valley gutter with brushes and buckets, then in order to complete the overall works in a single day, a leaf blower was used to help dry them out before the valley gutter joints could be sealed.
