Fascia board is fitted to cap the end of rafters outside a building is generally UPVC plastic which is available in a variety of colours or can be timber which is suitable for staining and painting. The fascia board can be used to hold the rain gutter. The finished surface below the fascia and rafters is called the soffit this can also be installed using UPVC plastic or timber to match the fascia.
