It was started by Harold Jillings but is now owned by his daughter Mavis Baddeley who joined the company in 1969 and changed the company name in 1975. The company covers manufacture, supply and refurbishment of contract, office and domestic furniture and prides itself on a high level of craftsmanship. Being in business since 1951 we've built a strong reputation based on company values that we have never lost sight of- reliability, quality and value for money.
The company supplies a full contract and domestic upholstery service, supplies all types of new office/contract furniture and also a French and Spray Polishing service. Our services are used extensively by many leading banks, Local Authorities, Police, Hospitals, Social Services, Schools, Universities, and many Commercial and Industrial companies both large and small. We specialise in office chair repairs and reupholstery and stock spare parts for many chairs.
We can construct bespoke seating using hardwood frames & upholstery in various types of hide and faux leathers. Any show wood can be polished by our own craftsmen, matching to existing colours if required.
A growing area of our business now includes the supply of new furniture including tables, settees and chairs etc, for many companies such as Yorkshire Bank, Scarcroft Golf Club, YTV and many more. The re-upholstery undertaken by our company is to the highest quality and we will not compromise our standards by producing inferior work. We re-cover all types of domestic furniture and make bespoke furniture to customer requirements. We undertake antique restoration and produce made to measure loose covers.
