The most important element of our work is the design and costing of the products specied, which can include a wide variety of Roof Trusses and Open Web Beams. Roof trusses vary considerably in complexity and are used in the construction of a wide variety of buildings from a simple pitched garage roof to conventional houses, terraced houses, public buildings and large commercial projects. For this work we only use experienced designers and estimators, with a detailed knowledge of building construction.
Walker Nene are an expert manufacturer, supplier and designer of: Roof Trusses, Open Web Beams and we also supply 22mm Egger Weyroc Protect Floor Boards, D4 Glue, Glulam, Cullen, Vac-Vac, bracings and loose timbers. Walker Nene Truss Co. uses the ITW Industry's package to design and calculate our Roof Trusses, Metal Web Floor Joists and Glulam Beams. Roof Trusses and Metal Web Floor Joists are manufactured from softwoods strength grade in accordance with the relevant British Standard Codes of Practice, designs also meet the requirements of the current statutory building regulations.
We have a broad and varied customer base ranging fromone off self build projects to large estates for national building companies. We also design and supply roof trusses for Architects, builders merchants and developers. Walker Nene is a specialist roof truss manufacturer and our expertise goes further than many others in the industry. Walker Nene meet the requirements of ISO 9001 throughthe Truss Rafter Scheme, and is PEFC certified. Every project is important for us because it brings a smile on our client's face when they see the results.
Allowing for overtime we usually trade at 70% of our site capacity, which means that we are always interested in quoting for annual contracts valued at between 300,000 and 500,000, for delivery to the Eastern Counties.
