In 1980 Paul became and approved member of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB). This accreditation provided recognition of the high standards of craftsmanship and professionalism on Paul Strank Roofing Ltd projects. In 1986 Paul formed his own scaffold division using specially trained C.I.T.B scaffolders. After four more years of continued success, the business expanded into the retail trade, opening a roofing merchant store in 1990. The original store was located on Merton High Street, but in just three years the shop expanded and relocated to its current location at 22 Weir Road, Wimbledon, SW19 8UG.
