When putting up new fascias, soffits and bargeboards or replacing them, we recommend fitting UPVC, which will save on maintenance and look great. There is no repainting and cleaning simply requires a wipe down with a damp cloth. Correctly positioned overhangs such as verandahs, eave and soffits can dramatically reduce the impact that sun, wind and rain can have on homes and can save homeowners money on heating, cooling and maintenance costs.
We cover all aspects of slate roofs including new roofs, roof repairs and leadwork. We use specialist products that include Redland and Marley. When we re-roof we only use breatheable felt and batons. We insulate using Celutex, Rockwool and Triso-Super multi-foil insulation. We use several different slating products that include Spanish Slate & Welsh Slate (new or reclaimed).
Our lead work involves using all different codes of lead including code three, code four and several different types of code five. Depending on what the lead is for, for example code three for soakers, code four for flashings around Chimneys then code five would be used on bigger projects such as lead roofs and large Gulleys. All lead is laid on a Geotec Underlay.
These images are of a chimney in the Wellesley Park area of Wellington, Somerset, that was in need of repair. We striped the chimney down and applied two coats of plaster before repainting. Then the top courses of brick we re-pointed to provide a long lasting repair to the chimney.
