This roof repair in Sheffield shows the technique used by our roofer to remove the single damaged slate from within the body of the roof in preparation of completing the roofing repair. This will be done by sliding a new slate into position and securing it with either a copper or lead strap.

One of our tradesmen re pointing a brick chimney stack following the fitting of a new clay tile roof and lead flashings in Sheffield. Note the ingenious method by which he climbs the roof slope via the new timber tile battens by leaving out a section of these fragile tiles until the chimney has been pointed when he will then complete the tiling fully.
