We are a Cornish family business established by Frank Tripp over 50 years ago. Three generations of the Tripp family work together, combining a wealth of experience and expertise. Now one of the few remaining large independent removals companies in Cornwall, Tripp Removals and Storage is first choice for those who prefer a flexible and personal service. We offer comprehensive packing, removals and storage services, but can also accommodate the transport or storage of single items. We have a storage facility that has a capacity of 17,816 sq ft to store your belongings.

It is currently run by brother and sister team, Operations Manager Simon Tripp and Financial Manager Allison Cowie. Between them, Simon and Allison have over 40 years experience in the removals industry and have been involved in all aspects of the business. We have been a member of the British Association of Removers for over 40 years and take pride in our professionalism. In order to maintain our high standards we pay close attention to our customer feedback and are always working to improve the services we offer.

This service is charged at a four-weekly rate. We are offering a discounted long term storage rates, please contact us for more details. Our store is very central, we are only a 10 minute drive from Truro, Falmouth, Camborne and Redruth. You are able to access your storage containers (wooden crates) from 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our surveyor will visit you before the move so that we can accurately assess the size of vehicle and number of staff you'll need. We'll also check both properties to get a better sense of the access available. We understand that you may require storage at short notice, and won't always know how long you'll need it for, so we have no minimum or maximum period. Our storage facility is centrally located between Falmouth, Truro and Redruth, and is within three miles of the A30.

Ever the entrepreneur, Frank also delivered goods, including horse manure for market gardens and cattle food. In addition, he supplied vegetables to the London and Sheffield markets, provided coal and tarmacadam for Council road works and transported personnel from RNAS Culdrose to other naval bases including Weymouth and Portsmouth. During the 1960s only a few firms like Pickfords, Smiths and Christophers were carrying out national removals.
