JA Coles

The Jeakins family have worked in removals and transport dating back to the 1890s when G. W. Jeakins set up the firm as a carter in Hoxton, London. In 1969 D. J. Jeakins bought the company and incorporated the brand J. A. Coles. Over the years the business has expanded from the domestic removals market into the international moving market. Our modern fleet of 20 vehicles and 10 trailers still carry the traditional and distinctive red and blue livery and can regularly be spotted providing removals, packing and storage to households across London, the UK and Europe.

J A Coles has been providing domestic moves in North London for over 50 years. Areas covered include Islington, Highbury, Highgate, Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Stoke Newington, Camden, Hampstead, Primrose Hill, Swiss Cottage and St Johns Wood. Our distinct livery is well known in the above areas and our company has gained a reputation over the years of offering a high quality, efficient, stress free removal service with the majority of our domestic move customers being via recommendation or repeat business.

Coles has introduced the family atmosphere to many office moves over the years. Many families that have happily experienced our services have later requested us to tend to their business relocation with the same approach. Coles is adept at moving office furniture, files, documents, machines and sensitive IT equipment.
