I have over 45 years of working experince within the Plumbing and Heating industry. For me Customer service has always been a top priority. I try and carry a range of plumbing spares on my van to be able to repair problems on the first visit to you, such as a leaking pipe, noisy ball-valves, dripping tap, toilets that won't flush/constatnaetly running or dripping overflows. Please have a look around my web site to see if the work I do fit your needs, whether it be installing, servicing or repairing.
A filter Power Flushing is the process of removing or 'flushing out' accumulated 'sludge' deposits from central heating systems. Over the years, a corrosive black sludge will build up throughout the central heating system, coating the pipes, boiler and blocking the radiators. Reduced heat transfer in boiler. Increased boiler noises. Boiler components sticking or failing. Increased pump wear. Which all cost you money. What is sludge? Sludge is a cumulative name for rust and debris found in your central heating system water.
I do most Plumbing work, but specialising in the smaller jobs. Toilet repairs problems with taps, waste fittings, overflows running, fitting washing machines etc. Replacement of taps, showers, toilets, basins etc. I would rather offer a service customers often find the hardest to get resolved, the smaller job.
The main difference to you is how you fill the heating system, open vented fill themselves, sealed system you have to do it. Open-vented central heating is where you have a 'header tank' in the loft, which fills the boiler and radiator system initially and then keeps it topped up with water. A ball valve in the tank connected to the mains water keeps the water level in the tank and the heating system correct. Sealed-system (sometimes known as 'pressurised') central heating is where the header tank is dispensed with.
